Total Runs Over / Under
The bookmaker sets a number — for example "320 runs". You bet on whether the total runs in the match will be more than that (over) or less (under). Pitch conditions and team strength play a big role in this market.
Multi Bet
A bet that combines multiple matches or events into one. You win only if all selections are correct — if even one is wrong, the entire bet is lost. However, the return is much higher if you win, because every set of odds is multiplied together.
Handicap Betting
To level the gap between two teams, the weaker team is given a virtual advantage (for example +1.5 wickets or +20 runs). This makes the market more competitive.
Over-by-Over
In live betting, a separate market exists for how many runs will be scored in each over. This is a fast-moving option within in-play betting — the odds can change after every delivery.
Football and Other Sports

How to Read Odds — Three Format Explained

Example 2 — Favourite Team B, stake ৳200
Team B's odds: decimal 1.50 = fractional 1/2 = American -200.
A negative American odds figure means how much you need to stake to win ৳100. Here a ৳200 bet returns ৳300 (৳100 profit). The favourite has lower odds so the profit is lower too — but the chance of winning is considered higher.

Multi Bet Example
Combining decimal odds of 1.40, 1.70 and 1.90 from three separate matches gives total odds of 4.52 (rounded). A ৳100 bet returns ৳452 — but all three selections must be correct. If one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
In-Play Betting — Odds Change During the Match
Live or in-play betting means you can place bets even after the match has started. In T20 cricket, every time a wicket falls or a big shot is hit, the odds change in an instant.
Say Team A has made a good start in the first five overs — Team A's odds will come down (because their chance of winning has increased) while Team B's odds will go up. Watching these changes and placing your bet accordingly is the main appeal of in-play betting.
If quick wickets fall before the powerplay ends, pressure builds on the batting team's run rate and the odds shift noticeably in favour of the bowling side. In ODI, the last ten overs, and in Test cricket, the fifth-day pitch, create the most swings in in-play markets.
